W.D. Gaster

I adore the idea of W.D. Gaster (also known as the "mystery man") being Sans and Papyrus's father. However it seems he's trapped between the data and the game. So I figured a theory. Perhaps while Gaster was a scientist he figured out the possibility of other timelines existing at the same time in different areas of the universe, despite the reset anomaly. He didn't believe this, but decided to try and look into it anyways. He discovered the genocide line where his children are killed by a mad human child. He blamed himself and though he eventually learned how to get back home he was too ashamed to return. He thought it the genocide line was the ONLY timeline that existed and that he traveled a light speeds and wasn't there to protect his sons from the danger. It's just a theory so don't..."DUNK"...on it too much. As you could probably tell this was a quick one. Also that there is wingdings. Don't know if that's the right font for Gaster but whatever.
